"It went to their heads. Quickly, the researchers say.Only 6 minutes after consuming an amount of alcohol equivalent to three beers ? leading to a blood alcohol level of 0.05 to 0.06 percent, which impairs driving ability ? changes had already taken place in the brain cells." If one develops awareness one can be aware of the first changes brought about by a drop of alcohol or a sip of coffee. Directly. Significant part - "the brain's ability to recover from the effect of alcohol decreases or is eliminated as the consumption of alcohol increases. The acute effects demonstrated in our study could possibly form the basis for the permanent brain damage that is known to occur in alcoholics. "
Unless you are genetically predisposed to it you will probably be fine even after four years. For most people it would take 6-8 to reach the point of real alcoholism. My idea of alcoholism is people who are actually physically addicted to it not just someone who drinks too much.I drank pretty heavy for about 5 years and then stopped. Still have a few beers now and then but it's just lost it's appeal to me. Pot's still good though.
