I assume for this to work we would need some sort of regulated air traffic control system or else people would be flying these things all over the damn place.
I don't know why you've been dugg down. The FAA is responsible for making flight too expensive for 90% of the population already. Look at the technology that goes into an average Cessena. It's like a 1970's economy car. There is NO MAGIC to flight, people! The FAA want's it to be expensive and restrictive, so that very few people do it. They prey upon our natural fear of falling, and send the image that pilots are somehow very special, super talented demi-gods. Air travel should be cheap and easy. Would be if the FAA were abolished. Personal aircraft for $10,000 for two or four people, up to about 100 horsepower (90 mph or so,) is easy to accomplish, with $30,000 sleek aircraft that can do 160 mph with all the comforts of a mid-ranged sedan. If you can drive in city traffic, you can fly. It's not that hard.
I was thinking, "Yes! Thank god I'll be able to fly this into canyons! If only I could fly into canyons now, I would have discovered some old buried treasure or something! Thanks to this guy, in the future, we'll ALL find old treasure buried in canyons."
Not only does it not show how a flying car works, it's not a "real" flying car. It's a simulation and a model. Buried as inaccurate and getting my hopes up and for reminding me of Moller and for waking up the safety matrons.

God I hate safety matrons. Why don't you go complain about how dangerous motorcycles are, granny?

Our *one* accent? There's few round the country that would make science sound very unlikely to succeed ;)
