That is really awesome. Does the red led stay on all the time? Also, what about when the drive is being read? Does the green LED still come on? I am going to digg this, and blog it.
They talked about this on TSS/AOTS (I don't remember when they did it, but it was by KRose). It wasn't a Homer salt shaker, but they stuck them in a few different things including a rubber ducky.I still give it a digg though.

The funny thing is, with that drive stuck in his head, that salt shaker is probably smarter than the "real" homer!
