arstechnica.com— The House of Representatives has passed the Pro-IP Act, which aims to impose stricter penalties for copyright infringement. It would also create a new copyright czar in the executive branch.

I'm sorry, but aren't there far more important things for the House to focus on than the wishes of a special interest group which does NOT have the greater common good in mind? I think we could find a better use for the money that's proposed to be spent on this bulls**t (like health care, education, etc).
Yeah, this is SO what we need more of in America. If there's anything wrong with this country, it's that we don't have enough Czars in the executive branch to watch what people are doing in their private lives. f**king idiots.
Well, not surprising that Ron Paul stepped up to the plate once again. And to think we COULD have had him as president, but dumb f**ktard America decided to vote for "who the TV told them to vote for". Goddamn stupid people make me sick.
@excalibraxThe range of your vocabulary and understanding of geography is astounding.Check the CSPAN footage on your tivo. The Junior Senator from Illinois was indeed visiting House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on the House floor. Why don't you think Obama can't walk a hundred yards to the other side of the dome?
lemme see if I get this straight.America is passing a bill that will swamp America's courts???Isn't that like saying: "This country does not need a legal system" ?Destroying the legal system, isn't that part of a ten point plan to take over the country or something?Oh well, never mind. Let's see what happens next.In the meantime I'll go look up some world domination schemes to see what else fits.

I guess you haven't noticed that the MPAA and RIAA seem to think American law is global law, and it is working.

California is a big state with a lot of representatives, 99% who don't live in Hollywood...
