You know, I've always thought to myself, "Why does Digg even bother to include a 'Report' button? Who would really type anything SO offensive that people thought it merited moderator attention?"Well, thanks, TheGoldenRadix, now I know. Buried, reported, blocked.
I am not a fan of O'reilly, but there should be some honesty here, He has not said they are no homeless vets or that it their fault for being addicting to alcohol or other substances. He has said on his show more than a couple of times that they need treatment and its the VAs fault for not giving them the help and support that they need.
I used to think that was true, but I hear he's been an abusive assh**e off camera too (see how he treated Jeremy Glick). No doubt his angry rants draw an audience to whom he can sell commercials.
He's still alive because he pisses off reasonable people. Reasonable people don't kill just because they disagree with someone's speech. MLK and (probably) JFK, on the other hand, pissed off hyper-ideological radicals who were... unreasonable. Also, while there may be hyper-ideological radical "liberals", their convictions tend to lead them away from the killing.
The interview bothers me. I know what I would do when I was out - use that free money to go to school...most likely get a job over other candidates for the position I was going for because I was in the armed forces...cakewalk...usually instant respect. And well deserved. I understand lots of them are going to have their mental issues, that's another issue. This guy in the interview has issues. Cry me a river...
I can't bury or dig it, the story is incomplete. Did Ryan have to leave the Navy? Did he take advantage of their programs? Did the Navy boot him out due to issues caused by his service or other reasons? Did he see combat on his two year tour? Bill is an ass and their are plenty of homeless vets that need help, I'm just not happy with the report here, another instance where the person reporting didn't get all the facts. It doesn't help to refute Bill if you don't do it right.
Let me take a page from Kanye West. "Bill O doesn't care about servicemen." All he does is use them to bolster his own image and all that mushy fake "I love the troops" when all he really should be saying is "Watch my program you brainwashed idiots." If he really cared... he'd actually do something that doesn't start with the word "Being" and ends with "Douchebag"

You are the one with mental problems. Why don't you stand at the airport and spit on our returning troops? You don't even deserve to be a USA citizen.

You liberals just can't stand it because more people are conservative and listen to commentators that are believeable and reflect the truth.
