How about we just ban beta max since it allows someone to commit copyright infringement?....Oh, wait they tried that. Just because a piece of technology can be used to do evil doesn't mean it should be illegal! Everthing has it's good and bad points.While they're at it, why don't they just make video cameras illegal too since you can use them to spy on people?... Or, make software illegal since you can make virus's and other software that can spy on what people do?...Stupid people.

The more I think abou thtis the more I equate it to hand guns. Hand guns have real uses (okay that's arguable, but I disgress) just like rootkits do.
