I always tell people about the time my uncle bought a brand new state of the art hd for $300. size - 3gb. i remember asking him wtf he was going to do with 3 gb. i mean, good god, you could fit like 30 doom installs on that.how times change.
What a surprise, Gerry Harvey is backing Sony's format instead of the one Microsoft is backing. I'd like to know why he has such a problem with anything Microsoft dose. Someone should remind him all the PC's he sells run Microsoft Windows.
first of all UltraMegaFilmswalmart already sells both players blu ray and HDdvd. they were in talks to buy sub $300 HDdvd """"and BLU RAY""" drives from a no name walmart brand chinese factory. but the talks were very "rough draft" and the plans/deal fell through. read the ARS TECHNICA updated artical. which got 8 diggs. like regular news papers the shocking news get the front page and the retraction gets "buried" with 8 diggs

Who really cares anyway? Blu-Ray isn't going to be around long enough for anyone to enjoy it. Porn and HD-DVD...perfect together.
