The cancer ones were kinda scary. And I still read /. It still has some news that digg does not have. I use more than just two news sites its never good to just take one as the one and absolute truth.
Very interesting.... the first computer bug was actually a bug!"With that recall, the Pruis joined the ranks of the buggy computer -- a club that began in 1947 when engineers found a moth in Panel F, Relay #70 of the Harvard Mark 1 system. The computer was running a test of its multiplier and adder when the engineers noticed something was wrong. The moth was trapped, removed and taped into the computer's logbook with the words: "first actual case of a bug being found.""
the best is the soviet one. that's hillarious! we helped the soviets make the biggest non-nuclear explosion ever by giving them buggy pipe controllers. they actually USED the stolen controllers, and it blew up! thats great, i'm so glad we had Reagan then. if we had clinton in charge, oh we would've lost the cold war, or botched it in some way. if he knew about the soviets stealling our stuff, he probably would've sent a letter requesting them to stop, or else... he'd try diplomacy! GAAAH!
