yeah, and the sad thing is we tax payers are paying her to be a senator while she runs around her flooding ship of a campaign. honestly, can you just fake it like everyone else and be there for the important s**t?
I didn't really expect much from Clinton as a senator and it is unfortunate the way she has decided to use her position and voting record as if it was worthless for everything except use as a certificate to wave around in a presidential election. There were were times where i thought she was the only person who could stand up and oppose Bush on some ridiculous piece of legislation and mobilize her political machine to build enough support to actually get it defeated. She never took the opportunity or even made an effort. It might look bad in a general election if she takes a stand on something and loses. She might get blamed for blocking the patriot act, FISA, waterboarding, or whatever if there is another terrorist attack and that would keep her out of the white house.Clinton didn't lose my vote from hillarycare, monica lewinsky or any of the scandals involving cronyism from before Bill left the white house. She didn't lose my vote when ran an arrogant campaign based on entitlement and inevitability or from any of the insulting, patronizing, and insincere things she has done in the past 6 months. She lost it over the last 7 years when she turned down the opportunity to use her elected power and political influence to lead the charge to head off unconstitutional legislation over and over again. It was more important to her that she not use her power as a senator in a manner that might keep her from getting more power than to use the power she already had to make the country a better place.
Only a nation of morons would think that her showing up and casting one vote on a landslide loss makes a difference. Knowing it was a loss no matter how Clinton voted, she clearly has more important problems than casting a meaningless vote.Ideals don't block bills. The fact is Hilary doesn't support immunity and YOU people are responsible for putting the congressmen in office who are supporting immunity. Get smart and instead of attacking Hilary out of your bi-polar retardedness you NEED to focus your attention on the senate and house of republicans. Articles like this are just adding to misleading the public and setting up the democratic party to divide further. Under this logic, we'll slander Hilary out of office, even though she was one of the better politicians in congress for the working class, while ignoring the democrats voting like conservatives on immunity. Even Obama is dumb enough to vote for the stimulus plan. You can't pay off 30 years of infrastructure neglect and erosion of individual wealth with a 600 dollar check. They are just spending money they don't have for a temporary gain that is bound to be followed by the long term reality we are going broke because of PORK BARREL spending on non priority projects. It's not so bad to spend a trillion dollars rebuilding New Orleans, or maybe even starting a second space race for a moon colony or even to get to mars, it would be ok to spend a trillion dollars upgrading our aged and inefficient power grid or education system. But instead we spend it on war and what domestic spending we do have is HIGHLY inefficient. We cannot be a global power without a strong federal government, so all this small government talk is BS. Small government means we'll be a collection of state's such as the first failed US government or comparable to the EU and with the similar lack of unified military and economic power.
We are here to expose all the falsehoods because some of us are just tire of Bush-Clinton-Bush-Clinton. I think we can do better, and it is not ok to sweep this stuff under the carpet. Your partisanship banter doesn't make sense either, it doesn't matter whether it is a republican or democrat this bill is unconstitutional!I rather be idealistic than be a cynic. it doesn't take much to be a cynic.Did you call your senator or congress rep. to stop this bill?
