Kind of a stupid idea for a show. It could only create fear. It's easy for lots of people to say that this is hilarious, but if you were in a store and a man walked in with a mask on his face, you would likely react in fear like everybody in the video. No need to get into a debate about the legality of this either. Obviously it's not illegal in AUS. And it's always frustrating to see comments that assume everybody's from the USA. And even if we all were in the states, a law like this would likely vary from state to state. For example, in some states, it is legal for citizens to carry concealed weapons. This includes store owners. It's also legal in some states to shoot if you are protecting yourself. So yes, it's possible that if this video were shot in the USA that the actor could've been shot.Stupid idea. The racial profiling/bridge skit was much more revealing.
Just playing devil's advocate here, but maybe they should be allowed to have guns? This video demonstrates how easy it is to rob a place in Australia. How many people would be willing to try this same stunt in America? I have friends (from Texas) who literally were shot at and had bullet holes in their pickups for driving through some guys land (trespassing).

But this wasn't in Texas, this was in a normal (in relation to the rest of the world) country. People don't shoot people willy-nilly.

I am glad I don't live in a "normal" country where people use terms like willy-nilly.
