As someone who managed one of Apple's largest service centers, I can tell you that's not true.There have been very few Rev. B or greater releases that actually fixed hardware flaws in Apple products. There's this myth that keeps going around, and people are constantly saying things like, "I'll wait for Rev. B", when often they can be assured that there will be no Rev. B.This is a case in point, there was no Rev. B for the first iPhone, and the iPhone 3G color "issue" is resolved via firmware.
Well, me and lots of other people who were shot down previously said that this would be the case once third-party app developers got let lose on the device.Almost everyone who said it wouldn't make them crash more, are probably the ones bitching now.
