chir.ag— Highly addictive Zen-Garden-like game where you control flow of sand, water, salt, and oil by drawing walls, plants, sprouts, cera (wax).

I'm sorry. This is simply freaking awesome. The interactions between the water (spout), plant, and fire are really cool. Try putting a small bit of plant on top of a block of cera. Have a little spout feed the plant so it slowly grows. Then, put the fire on the bottom of the cera. It will slowly eat through the cera, and then destroy the whole plant in seconds. Mwhahahaha!
Re: the source code to this amazing thing-y. It would appear that the author has created a series of similar apps (follow the links upstream -- my favorite is called HellOfSand), and they're all based on a cool project which has been around for years, called Processing. Check out <a class="user" href="http://www.processing.org.">http://www.processing.org.</a> It's free! I'd love to see the processing source code for this app.
No Digg. There is no hydraulic pressure. I made a U-bend and filled it with water from the left side and the water only levels out at the bottom of the right side, it doesn't fill to level up with the left side.
For those, like myself, who use Mac OS X, are addicted, and want to play locally, the process is relatively the same as that of Windows:First, make sure the .jar file, which you can download from one of those posts above, is on your desktop. Second, open Terminal (it's in your utilities folder, in case you haven't checked there; just spotlight it). After Terminal opens, enter: cd desktop. Then, enter: java -jar sand7.jar sand7. The Falling Sand Game will open in another window, and it will run as long as you have Terminal open.
Sorry about the bury, the star burst is called a namejuku or something like that. it is a kind of slug.Salt makes it smaller and watermakes it bigger it turns into a deathsaw if it gets too big
Awsome stuff. Here's some of the relationships. Would appreciate hearing more:Namekuji (slug):Add water to grow or stop rollingAdd salt to shrink or to change directionsAdd fire to light on fire until dousedAt the right size, it can crawl up the walls and stick to the top, too big and it can't)Plants pixels will consume & replace water pixelsSand pixels will consume & replace spout pixelsFire pixels will consume oil (fast), plant (medium), and cena (slow) pixels??? (pink between cera and oil) will consume everything except the namekuji and the plant pixelsIf you wall off the namekuji and create a tube to feed it water, it will grow in strange strange ways.
This is the best game I have EVER played except the GTA series. I make it a kinda god game and puzzle game in one. My centrino 1.6 laptop is running 100% and I won't be having children now! It reminds me of tetris and I declare this better than Tetris (gonna get me a Multi-Linux Java rig for this game).I think a Chinese person made this and hats off! Well it beats getting beaten for trying to find out your recent history! (does anyone know who made it? gonna google it.)Just found the version xavierenigma2 mentioned and is awesome! ( sandgame.50webs.com )Make sure your case /CPU/GPU/PSU fans are not dusty prior to running this game and don't allow it to run in the background when not playing it!

Has anyone else's namekuji ever grown legs and gained the uncanny ability to fly?<a class="user" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/18475067@N00/109418812/">http://www.flickr.com/photos/18475067@N00/109418812/</a>I just froze time, set it on fire, doused it, and watered it while still frozen. Next thing I knew, it assumed a rather... different... shape, and it started floating around.
