youtube.com — Grand Prix circuit racer Roger Williamson crashes hard on lap 8, rolls his car and catches fire. Yards away stood a fire tender, but no order was given to stop the race. Worse, marshals with fire extinguishers merely watched as friend and colleague David Purley fought a lone battle to right the upturned car. What happens next will break your heart

When I watched this video the only thing I felt was the urge to help. My entire body was screaming to stand up and help Roger Williamson. I can't understand that there are people standing around and doing nothing. I rather have burn marks on my skin then marks on my soul because I stood aside when somebody was dying.I'm a photographer at Dutch Supercar Challenge and I see a lot of crashes happening in front of my camera. Fortunately nothing serious till yet and if so I believe and truly hope so that nowadays the marshals will help and not just stand aside.

That's the saddest thing I've ever seen in my life. I cannot believe how everybody else did NOTHING. So sad and infuriating...
