torrentfreak.com — The actor who plays the time-and-space warping ?Hiro Nakamura? in the hit US TV show ?Heroes? has made some positive comments about file-sharing after it became evident that French fans had either teleported into the future and watched the show before it aired on TV, or maybe downloaded it using BitTorrent.

Some people would like to think that you are. Which you aren't, by the way. In my book atleast.

I downloaded most of the first season for me and my other half. First time I've ever done that, but I figured I was ok for two reasons. 1) It's already been on Sky and I would have watched it then except (I think) my dish is slightly out of alignment (been getting worse over time) and some channels exhibit corruption on both the screen and sound. Heroes was unwatchable. 2) It's now showing on BBC2 (via Sky) with no adverts, so I figure I've already paid for this (Sky subscription) and I'm not depriving anyone of advertising revenue. We probably could have waited, but it's such an addictive program and we HAD to find out what happened next. The other night we had a choice: go to the movies or stay in and watch 4 x Heroes episodes back to back. No contest - she made the popcorn and I got the wine :-)

Just a quick bio since you don't think he could be that smart:"He graduated from Brown University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science and mathematics.""Landed his first job after graduation at Industrial Light & Magic, George Lucas's motion picture visual special effects company""His first major project was co-developing a computer program to generate water effects, which was first used for A Perfect Storm but also used in later films such as Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest. He later created programs for computational fluid dynamics and surface-tracking, which also became used in multiple projects. He has also worked on the Star Wars prequel trilogy"Also, the fact that he has an IQ of 180 was cited from a New York Times article.More info available here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Masi_Oka
