breitbart.tv— WARNING: GRAPHIC VIDEO. "It was really frightening. But in the end all we really worried about was the dolphins."

Cause Dolphins are so cute. Awe the poor cute animals, lets save them but kill all the ugly ones. I actually wonder what dolphin tastes like? Tuna, salmon? Anyone eat dolphin? I'm getting hungry.
Why it is wrong.1) They way these beautiful animals are killed. --They first, use tools that confuse the dolphins and block their sonar. Then, they use boats to drive them into the killing cove. Next, they use a net to trap them. Fourth, they cut several dolphins so the rest won't escape because of the dolphins strong family feeling and pretty advanced culture. Next, the killers drive many of the creatures into this small pen type area and start getting ropes around their tails and cut them even more. Then, they either put them in the back of the truck for the lucky ones or for the not so lucky dolphins, they are just dragged behind the truck on cement. To end it, they cut the throats and let the dolphins suffocate. Sometimes they even leave dolphins that are unacceptable for meat in the pen and let them starve to death or of exhaustion, usually with sunburn and blisters all over them.2) It is horrible for the environment. All of blood that is drained from the slaughterhouse to the ocean. Also, the in balance of the ecosystem is showing. Without the dolphins the fish are over breeding and killing the coral.3) The meat is bad for the Japanese people. Recently, the mammals have been found to contain mercury that has killed several Japanese and made others sick.4) Counterfeiting the meat. Most of the Dolphin meat is sold as whale meat.5) Obvious cultural differences.
The Heroes star is a keen marine conservationist and supporter of the campaign to save the Japanese dolphins, the article says. And then it quotes he as saying."It was so incredibly sad. We were so close to them and they were sky hopping, jumping out of the water to see us."If she was so "keen", maybe she might realize that it's called spyhopping, not sky hopping.Don't get me wrong, I support her actions 100%. I just hope this isn't her way of getting herself more attention and she really understands what is going on over there and truely does care instead of it being a publicity stunt.
I really wish people would stop calling them fish. Just because you heard them called Fish by the reporter in the video (he was referencing the fishermen, but its unclear whether he or they meant that they were fish) DOESN'T MEAN THEY ARE FISH! Dolphins are mammals, google it. A few people have asked why we treat them differently than Tuna, Salmon, and other sea-creatures... Well, why do we treat cats differently than we do snakes? Why do we treat elephants differently than fruitflies? Because we believe they are more ethically important. The ability to suffer, the degree to which they are conscious, the complexity of their experience, etc.

It's the way it is carried out in this particular example.
