readwriteweb.com — Google is set to make a major announcement tomorrow concerning YouTube integration with AdSense. Selected YouTube videos will be available to AdSense publishers and will appear wrapped in banner ads. The ads will be persistent banners outside the frame and fading in-frame overlays.

Yeah, you're right. I misread that. Whoops. I read a week or so ago that Youtube was planning on putting ads before the videos play, so when I saw this I jumped ahead a bit.My mistake.

I don't watch ads,I mute them on TV and I use ad block....I buy what I need when I need it and my choices have nothing to do with ads, which i have never watched anyway. I think the "Get a Mac" ads are clever, but I'm not getting a Mac..And the M&M ad featuring the Addams Family as candy is clever, but I'm not going to buy candy because of it. I think ad mongers think they have a lot more power over people's buying decisions than they actually have. Now having said that,i will sometimes click on Google's plane text ads...Ive used the internet over ten years and have clicked on banner ads three times and bought something from a banner ad once...Since i find banner ads very irritating,I just block them...Now if there was a way to shut them off after one viewing, that would be tolerable, but they just go on and on and on...

Please be more precise. I'm using flahblock and I don't understand what you're talking about. It never failed to block any flashes for me ... ?

What I mean is, the videos on youtube are flash apps. So you go to youtube right now and there is exactly one flash app on the page, and it's your video. If you block that flash app then youaren't watching your video. So my question is, what if that flash app plays an ad, and then plays the video you came to youtube actually watch. How are you going to block that and still see the video?
