You'd have to be pretty partisan (or pretty high?) to consider 'Chappaquiddick Ted' a victim of that sordid affair and even have the audacity to omit mention of Mary Jo Kopechne. 'Well, he either killed her or left her to die, but it was so hard on him to have to come back from something like that!' This would be a good opportunity for womanists to speak up and distinguish themselves from the rest of the professional Marxism cartel, but they're probably too fat from feeding from the public funding trough to do much at this point.
