i really like him, but tone it down just a bit (or come up with a game plan that can be explained well in 30 secs or less), and he'll do better.

You're right. You can best gauge what someone will do in office by what they've done in the past.Ron Paul has ten terms in Congress that backs up his rhetoric. That's what makes it worthwhile to support him. Look into his voting history and you'll see that he backs up his rhetoric with real votes. What better way to gauge what he'll do in office?

Cliff Notes: People don't need a big stick above their head ALL the time to create a good society.Ron Paul rocks!

I'd be more beneficial for everyone if you cited your sources when making statements such as those. I can say 'Rudy likes to stuff dead puppies into baby seal skin pillow cases because he says they're extra soft.' But unless I have a source cited it's pretty much guaranteed fluff. And don't just post something from a friend's blog or some nut job web site that's even worse than not citing a source at all.Good luck.

Ron Paul on the daily show was great though.

I knew everything in that article already relating to Ron Pauls views. Don't you think we've researched our candidate? I wouldn't make my decision on a candidate lightly, do you? Is that why you felt the need to post such a silly article? I think we are capable of doing our own research, have done it, and do support Ron Paul. If you aren't worried Ron will go far then why post negative comments... why not convince me your candidate is better. Maybe cause you're scared.... and you should be.
