@mibiWhile it's true that all your social security tax does go into the Social Security trust fund, it is also true that the federal government reserves the right to "borrow" from that trust fund when "needed". Unfortunately, they've "needed" to borrow from it quite a bit over the past few years.Where it not possible to withdrawl from the social security fund for any purpose other than pay out benefits, Social Security would not be in the sorry shape it is in now.

Bush spends ~4% of the GDP on the military. Clinton spent ~3% and during WWII, 7% was spent. What are you all talking about exactly?

@CyberdactylThe statistic is just to put things into perspective. For example, if we decided not to build just one fighter jet, that would double the money that the government allocates to all the research done on emerging diseases.

I'm against Federal Public Education. I'd rather see it Funded & Regulated by the state, directed by the city. And I'm really against "Black Colleges and Graduate institutions" Cause its unconstitutional and discriminates by race. I'm against Federal Housing for non-disabled person(s), its giving money to people who don't work and that's Communist. But I'm for Rental Assistance but it doesn't provide away to become totally self sufficient so its needs reconstructing.
