Did anyone here really believe otherwise? Seriously? All that tripe about "change", etc... and now we've got both Biden and Clinton going into power. Yeah. That's real change.Time for secession. Let's just end the federal government and be done with it.
You're assuming that there isn't a global conspiracy by the rich. If you consider for a moment that Bush and Obama are merely puppets of a rich elite, you'll get a different perspective. Obama isn't going to pardon Bush because he thinks it will help america, he'll do it because he knows that his rich handlers will demand it of him.
You're trying to apologize for explicitly illegal things. Torture is against the geneva convention and the US is a signatory to it. There is no grey areas when it comes to torture.Besides the question of torture there are other issues to contend with, such as lying to the public. Now you might not consider these that great of offenses, but they should still be addressed in any lawful society. You can't condone such offenses and still consider yourself a country of laws. If you break a law, regardless if you're president, you deserve to be judged. Now you have nothing really to fear, because Obama is merely a perpetuation of the previous regime, so Bush will definitely get a pardon.
You are a left wing radical who supports abortion, gay marriage, bigger government, higher taxes, more social programs, more gun control, a weaker military, and government subsidized markets.A true conservative like myself believes in the sanctity of life, traditional marriage, smaller government, lower taxes, fewer social programs, the right to keep and bare arms, a stronger military, and respect for the free markets.Social, economic, and religious freedom is what has made America the greatest nation in the history of mankind, not your socialist programs and government oversight. America is the greatest nation in history because we have long held to the belief that if government steps out of the way and allows individuals to take advantage of their God-given talent and ambitions, they will do great things and prosper. You are the one that needs to seek help.
@Doritos: I was implying "good." Pointing out that war has been accomplished hardly is a counter point to my argument that current politicians haven't done done their job or improved anything.@newms32: I voted McCain, and then straight down the line Democrats. I actually didn't realize it until after I voted; I looked up the actual positions of the candidates and voted for who I thought was best. I don't care what they prefer to call themselves; I prefer to know about their ideas, desires, and capabilities. Also, I don't think any reasonable person can be "forced to concede that the Bush Administration sucks." You can't force the willing.

In case no one has noticed, we have others things with which to be concerned at this particular moment. The economy being the first three of them.
