cnn.com — A great way to start off your morning - "Hardee's on Monday rolled out its new Country Breakfast Burrito -- two egg omelets filled with bacon, sausage, diced ham, cheddar cheese, hash browns and sausage gravy, all wrapped inside a flour tortilla. The burrito contains 920 calories and 60 grams of fat."

No, the movies clearly shows that they didn't expect this much change in so little time. The doctor treating him seems shocked of how his patient changes and advises him to quit. He expected him to gain weight and stuff but not a radical change in metabolism, heart condition etc...

I was behind a woman in Wal-Mart last night (first mistake: being in Wal-Mart) who was absolutely tremendous. She was maybe in her mid-40's. She was so large, she couldn't walk and had to use one of their little scooter things. Her husband was almost as big as she was, and their teenager daughter was well on her way to joining them. This alone is no evidence of a fattening society, but maybe the fact that everyone has seen these sorts of people - and in fact, see them *regularly* - is.As an aside, when their massive grocery order (two buggies, plus the little basket on the scooter) was completely rung up, the husband and daughter pushed the buggies out of the store while the woman stayed to pay. Her card was denied, so she calmly drove her scooter out of the store to get another method of payment. Now all three customers and all of the groceries were gone. The cashier had a nice little fit about that. :) In the end, the woman and the buggies came back and had to void everything because they didn't have another payment option, but for a few minutes I thought I'd just witnessed the worst-played theft ever.
