joystiq.com — If you've grown tired of traipsing through Snowbound in your desperate lust to eliminate squeaky-voiced, trash-talking cyborgs, the announcement of the downloadable "Heroic Map Pack" for Halo 3 should be just what the doctor ordered. Let's focus on the facts: December 11th, three maps, 800 MS Points ($10). The maps become free in Spring 2008.

Why is everybody saying 3.33$ per game? Compare that to the amount of hours you will play that. I am sure I played the halo 2 dlc for over 20 hours counting matchmaking, so its defiantly worth it.

I think you're being modded down for being part of the problem ;P

I'm not paying, these maps suck. They need to make more close-quarter maps instead of these gigantic ones, Lockout, Prisoner, Chillout, Midship, Colossus, Wizard, Damnation and Hang 'Em High would be superb maps for Halo 3 - and Forge would just expand the possibilities of the gameplay. How Bungie can be capable of such win and suck at the same time just astonishes me.

I'm buying them as soon as I get off work. $3.33 per map doesn't seem that bad to me really. See you all on the battle field!!
