treehugger.com — The ForTwo by Daimler is more than capable of cross-country travel as proven by this article about a Canadian couple who crossed their country coast to coast with 89 gallons of gasoline. Proves how ridiculous an SUV is.

Yeah, my Vauxhall Corsa (2007) could beat it hands down in efficiency, and it doesn't look like a Pokemon car. Plus,http://www.metacafe.com/watch/60538/smart_car_crash/

The sad part is they stopped making the Roadster about 18months ago.... they only make the fortwo now.My father-in-law just bought what is supposedly the last Brabus Roadster registered in the UK, which was registered back in January... 101bhp from a 700cc engine is some going, and there are places that will remap them up to around 120bhp.... it is pretty fast, so much fun to drive and averages around 55mpg... imperial gallons that is

Yeah, if people just proofread their s**t before posting. Comments, I'll accept a typo, but if you are submitting, pay attention to what you are doing.

Since you've never had to haul a pinball machine, no one else ever has to?You get three guesses what my job is. And the first two don't count. There are more things in life than exist in your teeny world-view. SUVs have a place. Just accept it.

My SUV gets 25 MPG on average. Renting a van/truck/whatever once a week (more often in summer) is about triple the cost of owning and driving my SUV, let alone the considerable additional costs that would be incurred having to own a different, non-pin-haul-capable vehicle as well.Like the other microcephalic commenter above, accept that the world is bigger than you, your experiences and your ill-informed little opinions and you'll get much farther in life.Taking a course or two in basic economics might help, too.

No, you're totally right. Thanks for the advice. Oh, but here's some for you: taking a course in the meaning of the word "unless" might help.
