I remember my first venture out... Once I reached the basement door and realized I didn't have my E key with me, so I just took a crow bar to it. Not that hard. It is hard though, to deal with the G-Man always watching over you in RL too.

I think the lambda symbol wrapped in a circle (with or without the 2 appended to a corner) is Half Life exclusive.
