thinkprogress.org — Over the weekend, Sen. Chuck Hagel (R-NE) visited Iraq, his fifth visit to the country. He held a press conference yesterday where he reminded reporters that the U.S. commitment was never intended to be ?open-ended,? adding, ?We can?t continue to stay in Iraq the way we are.?

Pretty sure the 'shopping' line was meant to criticize Pelosi's trip to the middle east (where she was photographed doing just that), rather than Hagel mocking his friend in the media.Marked as inaccurate...but feel free to try and convince me otherwise.

Do you Republican trolls get some sort of tax break for making up horse s**t on digg?? It's Pelosi? Or maybe it's the fact that Mccain made up bulls**t on TV, got called out for doing so. Then to try to save himself takes a trip to Iraq, and "strolls" thru downtown with 100+ bodyguards and helicopters. After they hold a press conference where dip s**t Lindsey Graham states he "I bought five rugs for five bucks." Just maybe Hagel is trying to distance himself from a couple of ass wipes.
