Hey, I did the same on my TI-81, created a tetris, actually pretty cool. 1 sub routine to draw each 'block', and another one to draw each shape. It worked pretty well. Gave up on making multiplayer though on the TI-81/82. I also rewrote Breakout from the TI-85, to the TI-81/82, it had to have some sub routines re-written.Chris.
the sam hash is quite small... windows xp bydefault uses an old algorithm for passwords under 7-14 chars.a password under 7 chars using sam is quite quick to crack, under 1-2 minutes. (seconds with a fast caclulator, or a good rainbow hash)
not if that caclulator was exploiting the hardware instalation and autorun of a user who was logged in the background... maybe this is only a hack that works if the user has "locked" their workstation, which on windows xp by default makes the user still run, and still able to install hardware (and autorun stuff on that hardware).I vote the calculator emulated a harddisk, and had an autorun.exe
@slithy: Why not? I make quite a bit on money doing that. Not directly from it though. I help someone over the phone, then they tell others that I helped them, then those people bring their computers to me, then they tell even more people about me. Ahh, you just gotta love free advertising ^_^ It helps fill up the old gas tank :)
This is no BS at all.Why did it automatically choose which user to hack?Sam the Best was the only logged in user or the only administrator. Why so fast? You know that Windows XP has lots of security holes! This probably exploits one of them.oras others said, the driver could autorun on the logged in user and gain system accessWhere to get it?I tried to look everywhere but it seems that it is impossible to get the software now. People said that the program was banned and cannot be downloaded anywhere. That sucks, the owner shouldn't have given in! Hack tools aren't illegal, they could be used for educational purposes.Anyway, you can't really say its fake. If a hacker can have physical access to your PC, then they can do anything to it! What would be impressive is to do that without physical access.
Ok, I hope this kills it.This is FAKE for the following 10 reasons:1. The program ended in '.exe', which is a WINDOWS program extension.2. The program said 'Done', which means it terminated, so the rest is fake.3. How can he capture the screen, if the calculator is plugged into a computer on the Welcome screen?4. The TI-84 Plus only displays up to 16 characters across, the one shown was much wider.5. A USB device can't access the hard drive from the Welcome screen.6. Windows will not let a USB device access the SAM file.7. A program written in TI-BASIC cannot access a computer through the USB.8. The one-way hash for a Windows password can NOT be cracked letter-by-letter, it must be brute forced, and on a calculator, that could take BILLIONS of years.9. The calculator did not ask for an account.10. The screen faded while he logged in.The maker of the video is an obvious idiot with how long he took to turn it on and plug in the USB. Also, a real hacker wouldn't put such gay music in his own vid. The end.
You can create a Windows password reset bootable CD/DVD or USB flash drive to reset forgotten Windows password, i have created a bootable USB flash drive with the tool Windows Password Breaker http://www.recoverwindowspassword.com/ and reset my administrator password successfully.

Perhaps that means that poor grammar isn't the deciding factor in whether or not a post is dugg or burried.

Could he move any slower? Watching this guy hack is like watching paint dry. How does he get anything done?

A graphing calculator is far below the standard of time MEMORY tradeoff attacks.
