Look, I'm not hoping anyone's Email account is invaded to simply cause havoc. I'm just big enough to admit, that in this type of situation, I wouldn't look away. In fact, I would download every single file I could get my hands on.I didn't hack into her account, which wasn't too difficult from what I understand. Nor did I post this information across the Web, but I did download. And in all likeliness, so did you. Get off your high horse and simply admit to it.

Some of the defenses I have seen for this are just amazing. They seem to imply that is is OK to break the law if the VICTIM does something that makes it easier. If you don't lock the car door, does it make it OK to steal the car? I remember when the Obamabots screamed when some wankers in government took a peek at his passport (they also looked at McCain's, as I recall). Heads rolled over that one.It is clear that your outrage depends solely upon who is attacked. Or was some lowlife hacking an email account to get access to a private cell number - and then calling a freakin' TEENAGER and posting her private cell phone voice mail message all OK because her mom is running for vice-president? This was wrong, almost certainly a crime, and there is no defense for it.Hey, my daughter also has a yahoo account. Does that mean it is OK to hack it, too?

I have to give credit for this article, I did not write it. I found the information on an article on CNET.com around the time the measure was passed.
