That isn't a hack, its Quartz Composer tapped into an RSS feed, plugged into an LCD screen inside an old news stand. Nothing really special here. Now if it was set up like the Apple RSS reader in 3D and all, then I'd be impressed.

i had a news vending machine and had the idea to put hamsters or fish in it so you could see them out the front.of course not both. or maybe a well trained hamster with scuba gear?
