2) no, sorry, that doesn't cut it. He was a tall man. A fat mat. Wearing a black shirt and jeans. Driving an X colored car of X make. Etc. Are you suggesting this is a USEFUL description like we are suppose to keep our eyes peeled for a "black guy" who messed up his phone?
Are you high? Have you seen the sales charts?Killer means it steals its business. There are so many phones out there that are tons better than iPhone. But they don't sell anywhere NEAR as well as the iPhone. Fashion Status is the key to the iPhones access. There just aren't enough geeks out there to drive the profits the way a mass marketed fashion icon status of the iPhone does.
I will briefly relate my experience with the N1, and hopefully illustrate why I feel google had no intention of selling many of them. I was an existing tmo customer, 9 years running. In order to get the phone, I had to leave my very well priced family loyalty plan for the aptly named "even more" plan, which cost me even more per month, as I had to pay for two individual lines. I did all this, went to order the phone, and could not, due to some weird f**kup somewhere between tmo and google. As it happened, while I was on the phone with (no s**t) HTC trying to work it out, since google doesn't have s**t for help and support unless you own an N1, I learned I could not buy the phone for the stated price of $179...I had to pay the current member price of $279, which IS on the N1 site, but is hard to find if you are not actively looking for other pricing. In the end, I offered to buy the phone for $279 if tmo would credit me the $100 difference to keep me as a customer.I now own and am very happy with a Droid. Verizon is gonna cost me a little more, but oh well. The rest of tmo's Android lineup is a joke (I had a G1 - loved it, but was ready to upgrade and out of contract.)
Forward facing camera + WiMax = Video conferencing? Bandwidth... Google can you please make a real video conferencing program, iChat and ooVoo are cool, but one requires OSX and the other wants you to pay arm and a leg.

Why Sprint is better than AT&T. And also why the Evo is better than the iPhone on their respective carriers. One word, price. http://tinyurl.com/323mt94
