I used to use HPJetAdmin to change the control panel to Japanese, and to modify the output trays. Some of my coworkers were not able to cope with it. (Paper ends up in floor instead of tray, control panel unreadable.)
I want to do this at school... But the administration is douche bags at my school and they'll claim me teh 1337 haxor and ban me from computer usage... Oh well, I'm a Senior, I don't give a s**t.

...OR just download jetadmin and do it the easy way. I would wager that most printers aren't locked down.

I just setup five of these last week at one of our new schools. I'm glad I put good strong passwords on them.-scooter

This hack is nearly ten years old, but there seems to always be new interfaces :-) Here is yet another: http://www.tekdev.com/downloads/printerhack/
