valleywag.com — The tech industry is huge and ungainly, but it's not impossible to get a grasp of its daily news. There are ways to deeply understand tech through hours of reading per day, but for the busy pro with only 20 minutes for tech news, use the following daily process.

Well outside of the headlines from a few of those sources I tend to use Tabbed Browsing in the morning and have all those pages open from a bookmark. Of Course all that serious stuff has to be moderated with the usual Penny Arcade, CtrlAltDel and LeastICouldDo. So that becomes abuot 12 sites in the morning I open and read whilst having breakfast what im still lacking is the easy subscribe/sync functionality whilst surfing. Since my breakfast table laptop is not the primary source of internet access and podcast collection it requires me to remember that there was something that caught my eye that i want to pass onto clients. Hopefully some diggers here can pass on suggestions as to how to regulate that process ontop of syncing bookmarks and todos.

FTW who wants to cut their daily-tech-consumption to 20 minutes?Get off Digg if you do. I mean really, this place is for people who like this stuff. Not people who need to curb their intake. Go to Slashdot for that.

I agree Nick, but I still use RSS because it keeps me from wasting loads of time. There have been many occasions where I will actually go to Engadget.com and think, "How did I miss this? Oh, yeah, I only saw the headline and did not think if was interesting."
