This does work!!! I submitted this story just to show how bad Microsofts security is. I tried this on a friends computer and it really did work for him, and he was able to download the things he wanted. You guys who are saying it doesnt work dont know what you are talking about.
Remember that this is for downloading content off of the windows website, usually you cant download it if you have a fake copy of windows. If you use this method, you can bypass that. Just to clear up that this is not for activating windows or anything.

you can bypass the genuine advantage right here. it works great. don't use the other crap because they are VIRUSES and will screw with your dll files. here is a great registry edit that won't harm your computer!
