Don't worry. The thousands of hackers/crackers out there will take care of any DRM invented by man and us pirates will be there to distribute it to ya. So relax, buddy. ;-)

I myself would like to see an updated LaserDisc standard for HD... Do it digitally and in AVC, but with that much space and multi-layers, there wouldn't be a need for any compression whatsoever. Sure, the discs would be $120 each, but I think Pioneer proved for a decade that there is a market for high end home video and people willing to pay top dollar (or euro or yen) for the best picture period.
