The best 2 concerts I have ever been to were Gwar concerts. If you haven't seen them try to find a youtube video or something, they put on an amazing theatrical show during their set.
Yeah I am a long time metal fan, and seeing Gwar at a summer festival was awesome. They had the new Pope dressed with Nazi symbols on him, and they had a giant space troll eat his head off. Then they butchered the space troll with axes, and fake blood squirted everywhere.
