keywords capitalist theory. This is only true in a world of perfect knowledge and pure competition, companies can always find a sucker unaware of a businesses poor reputation.
That guy was probably a horrible employee and the managers thought this was a good excuse to use to fire him. I mean come on, who would fire someone PURELY because of a comic strip if that employee was at least a half decent worker.
You really need to come out of your theoretical bubble into the real world where hiring and firing for frivolous reasons is pretty much the norm. If you know the right person you will get hired. If you piss of the wrong person you will get fired not matter how incompetent they are and how competent you are. The bottom line of the company is not touched unless you are a very small company. Meanwhile lives are changed dramatically. That is in part how the real world works, not your nonsensical theoretical capitalist nonexistent world. I probably got dugg up because real people living in the real world have seen this to be true... not the book world you must still live in... and besides that I have no need to swear for absolutely no other reason than to act like a jerk like you.
