fora.tv — "He has a very interesting leadership style. It's not a style that I particularly embrace. He's very demanding, he's excessively truthful... It's just not my style. He does get the best out of you, I think, because people fear him. Clearly it works for him, but it's not something I've emulated in my career. You can't knock his success."

Business is about having good product and a decent reputation. Most people can see through the thin veneers of slick fast talking business men.

But I wouldn't be surprised to learn that a disproportionate number of them are run by jerks.. or at least type 'A' personalities.

glug glug glug.. apple's marketing bs tastes great! Superior hardware quality to what? you can make a pc with the same spec. OS is good but also BS because they buy up companies like Logic and then make sure that the software gets developed on mac's for mac's with no pc support. Basically removing choice from the equation for many creative professionals. The only thing which I would say mac beat everybody by is the quality of their displays. Everything else is BS. I've used hackintoshes which work exactly the same as my mac.... and cost less than half to build (even if you include the cost of buying OSX)..

I need more than your word that the hardware was of equal quality.

I like that people are giving management tips to the man who runs Apple, made the walkman of this decade, the largest music retailer in the world, the fastest up and coming cell phone manufacturer in the world (3rd or 4th largest in 2 years?), bought Pixar for $10 million and sold for $4 Billion, i think. And now Disney's largest share holder. I probably missed a few things, but I'm sure you guys know better though.
