xB4R7x, but (especially for younger people), going to a party and drinking a bit too much doesn't mean you won't be a good employee. Whenever I go to a party, I make sure I book the night off (and often the next day off) with plenty of time in advance. Unless your company has some sort of ultra-top secret aspect that might slip out if you get to drunk, I don't see that as a valid reason.
