The only part I don't agree with is the fingerprinting... Otherwise, it's no different than getting a license to drive a car.

*FACEPALM* You do not have a right to drive a car. You do have a right to own a gun. Mayhaps you need to educate yourself on what the term "right" actually means? What you state is basically the same as having to get a license to speak, print anything, or practice any religion that you choose.

I have to disagree. No rights have been compromised by Google's app. Certainly the data can be misused, but people gave their phone numbers VOLUNTARILY.I question their judgment in doing so.
