Whoa this is really amazing. A few friends of mine were just talking about something like this the other day. We all play guitar and happen to dislike Guitar Hero for its ability to make people think they can actually play a guitar. I've been playing guitar for just over five years and this is a very interesting thing.

Could imagine those stupid guitar queroes that think they're so great try playing this and missing every note then blame the "fakeness" of what they would consider a "real" guitar. Mind you I started to play guitar by playing guitar hero first, but self taught myself and am pretty good. Oh wait that above statement is sorta me..........crap.

This could make a good accessory for a Gibson Robot (self tuning, aware of what note each string is playing). That would solve the problem of chords straight away.

I play real guitar and guitar hero because i didnt realize that in the land of snobbery know as the internet thats illegal. cant wait for this game. i wonder if you can play acoustic/electric guitars on this game. They should make one for drums

I still think this is just as bad as guitar hero or rock band. Its about instant gratification. trust me, there is much more satisfaction in learning the real thing.
