blogs.sfweekly.com— "Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong said the band decided to "just say no" to Wal-Mart's policy of not selling any CD with a Parental Advisory sticker."

Good for them, they made the right decision giving Wal-Mart the finger. I bought one of those bulls**t censored CDs from Wal-Mart once long ago and was pissed off when I discovered that they censored words even the radio version left alone. They do the same s**t to video games, I remember ages ago I bought Shadow Warrior at Wal-Mart and found out that they had installed a 'parental lock' that removed all the blood and gore...Maybe I should get back at them by running naked through the aisles of the local Wal-Mart, screaming "CENSOR THIS YOU f**kING ****S!" Simply not buying CDs or video games there doesn't seem to have any affect...
Are you f**king retarded? They will lose a lot more sales than what the publicity will give them. If they would have agreed, you would have called them sell outs.
I wouldn't even call them sell outs, sure they had a couple of big records, but they always sounded pop-Punkish, they're music has changed a bit since they've gotten older, but they're pushing 40 and still putting out decent music.
It's tremendous to listen to front to back. Song 13, Restless Heart Syndrome is a great song and has an incredible ending. Certain to be a classic. The whole album, over 18 songs, is very good to listen to. Props to Green Day for not creating a censored version. Music is art and deserves to be left to the consumers to make a decision on whether or not it's acceptable listening.
