So you're willing to completely throw out our system of justice because the trial might become a spectacle? Because there might be protests? Because he might be acquitted? Is this really how weak willed we have become?

@absurdist: "Blah blah blah MY ARMCHAIR PHYSICS KNOW BETTER THAN ACTUAL INVESTIGATIONS blah blah blah 'FREE FALL SPEEDS' I GOT THAT FROM A DISCREDITED CONSPIRACY VIDEO WHETHER I KNOW IT OR NOT blah blah blah I'M JUST ASKING QUESTIONS ASSHAT"*yawn* I feel like I was just transported back to 2005, and even back then your arguments were flimsy and pathetic. You are boring. Stop asking questions that have already been answered ad nauseum and maybe people will start taking you seriously. You can't say "I'm just asking questions" you outright reject the answers provided for those questions by so many experts and scientists.Get a life.

@swoop187 - so you don't trust this nation of laws and it's judicial system set up over 225 years ago...Not good enough for you? You don't trust the consititution to deal with the people of the world? You dislike those things that much? You have a lot of nerve saying anyone supports "terrorists" when it is people like you who create them...Your refusal to allow our system to workAnd supporting the evil fascist religion? What religion? Christianity? Buddhism? What religion? Islam? You obviously know less than nothing about many basic things..The country, the Constitution, the legal system, liberals, Islam, Christianity, the world, people, life, love...You seem to know only fear, hate, bigotry and distrust...Sad, so very very sad.

So it makes common sense not to hold that trial in NYC? Are we afraid it will incite further terrorist attacks? Do we intend to change the way we live out of fear of terrorists?I would love to hear some common sense from the Repubs though. If I heard it, I'd be glad to agree with it, you are correct.

So, by prosecuting them as something different to a murderer is legitimising their arguments...
