First point, it isn't the obvious reason you have to worry about, and secondly - no one has the right to spy on another - especially a group of people so clearly out of touch with anything remotely resembling morals or ethics. BTW - in their minds, as one of the unwashed masses - YOU ARE THE CRIMINAL!!! You don't need to commit a crime - just thinking for yourself is enough. That is why this isn't tinfoilish at all - the last 6 years should have shown that to you. Heck, if the US had listened to those tinfoil hat wearers none of this crap would even be an issue today... But insulting people for thinking for themselves is easier.
sattelites have a very long dwell time, and some can even be geo-stationary, the sky is very big and they don't have to be looking straight down. As for the weather, im sure they invented a technology that allows them to get images through cloud cover, we just havent heard of it yet for "national security" reasons
Right because the most advanced government funded spy satellite systems in the world are limited to the scope of technology covered in an entry level undergraduate course known as Optics 101.
Okay, as soon as Britney Spears shaves her head again, or Paris Hilton has another run in with the cops, we'll be sure to wake.Until then, the rest of us will continue to keep an eye on the political horizon so your nap won't be disturbed.
It seems to me like you are the one paranoid just not of terrorists but of the government. Yes the government should not be throwing the constitution out the window, but I don't see anything unconstitutional in this at all.
