nytimes.com— If John McCain seriously thought Gov. Sarah Palin was qualified to be president, it raises profound questions about his judgment.

I never defended the democrats in any way, shape or form in my post. As noted, I have MANY problems with the two-party system. It's inherently flawed and it's need reformed for a long, long time.My post wasn't pro-democrat in the least; it was anti-republican. Because for as much as I have a distaste for the current party system, it's the ignorance and apathy of the Fox News crowd that is the most troubling. Lining up to support a woman that people didn't even have any facts about BEFORE any facts came out?It was nothing less than blind following...the fact is, they didn't CARE who was chosen, they were and are going to support them and defend the candidate as hard as possible. Despite facts, despite the truth, statistics or any of that other stuff that generally leads a group of people to decide whether they will support someone or not support them.
I agree to your points. But if the media did what duckley suggested, then there would be media as we know it. They would all go bust and be replaced by actual propaganda machines (or FOX would just own the entirety of TV).
As an American who lost a loved one in the war in Iraq, I am proud of my son's decision to help defend our freedom in a foreign land. I'm a Marine and will always support our troops 100%. But I won't let McCane shove Palin crap up our asses by saying, "she is the most qualified on energy." Palin lied when she said Alaska supplies the US with 20% energy. The fact is, "ALASKA supplies the US with under 3% energy. You already know the other lies that they been spreading, so I don't have to mention them. As a member of the Military, I don't want want to think that Palin may well send soldiers to Russia and Iran. To my American brothers and sisters please vote in this election, and vote for a person that is intelligent and understands the politics of the world. Vote for Obama-Biden ticket!
Im not saying she has appropriate experience. What I am saying is that neither of them do. Obama may have Biden in the number two, but Palin has McCain as her number 1. I just think that on both sides, these parties insult us by pandering to certain electorates with their candidate choices and every policy decision is based on "who does this buy us". Do you seriously believe that these candidates are the best this country can do? Its just disappointing, that's all.
I've got no problems with hugs, as long as you don't grab my ass. I'm not decided on who I'll end up voting for yet, but it certainly won't be McCain/Palin.
