nbcnewyork.com— If the rumor mill is correct (and by rumor mill we mean the DC Comics marketing department) Bruce Wayne will be killed in an upcoming Batman comic. And it won't be pretty.

It's f**king Batman for Christ's sake? What the hell? I guess the writers are just pussing out... "Oh well, I've got nothing- You got any ideas on what this kickass vigilante in spandex can do?" "Nope, nothing." "Aha! I've got it... Let's kill him!"Yeah, that's f**king wrong. Bastards.
This here is the reason I stopped reading comics years ago. When Morrison killed off Jean Grey, they weren't the same for me. And thats just Jean Grey. I'm glad I stopped there. If I was around for when they killed off Cap I would have went ballistic. I saw the writing on the wall and got out. Heroic comics are dead.
Look, Dan Didio has a formula - create drama by defiling decent characters, kill off one or two, and replace them with PC versions. This is merely a repeat of that formula. Of course, Bruce Wayne will be back, but all of the other characters he has ruined - Ted Kord and Sue Dibney will likely never be returned to the status the characters deserve.Whatever, they are only characters, but the mismanagement is really horrible.

They are doing it to boost comic sales more than anything I bet. It lifted sales so much for Superman and Captain America.

Bucky's as good as dead. Who would want to live with a cybernetic wankin' arm?
