it should be noted:: pack.google.com & google.com/pack redirect to a logon screen... but before thathttp://pack.google.com/pack/pack_installer.htmlso basically, this is completely legit

I agree with chriskzoo, why get so excited over this announcement. Seriously people (this is no digg) - what is the big deal getting a CD or waiting to download a "Google Pack" when you can simply download each software at your convenience and avoid being part of the stupid hype of special bundle software packages. It's great that it will be pre-installed on every new personal machine (if its true, then thanks goodness), but for those that already own a PC, shame on you!In fact i'd gladly make a software installer "GPack/Google Pack" for each of you but then why should i when i'm happy to direct you to the download links:http://desktop.google.com/ , http://www.google.com/talk/ , http://trillian.cc/ , http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/ , http://www.real.com/ , http://earth.google.com/Now if Google decides to release Google Calendar/Purchases/Wallet or other amazing (new & innovative) product and not just a silly major update release, then you are more than welcome to Digg it and call me asap! For now, i wait till friday for Google's real hidden agenda to be announced at CES '06 when they do release awesome products as part of their Google Grids!!! (and don't you dare wake me up for some stupidity!)
