readwriteweb.com — Microblogging has become a very popular way for people to share news and information or even live-blog in real time, but if you have ever tried to search through services like Twitter using only Google, the Twitter native search or any number of other services, you know how difficult it can be to find exactly what you're after.

Before the "BURIED FOR TWITTER. I DONT NEED TO KNOW WHAT SELF-IMPORTANT NARCISSISTIC DOUCHEBAGS ARE DOING ALL THE TIME." comments arrive – by people who have clearly never used Twitter for more than 5 minutes, I'd like to say that many of us use Twitter like a two-way RSS feed. I rarely "tweet" anything. I follow a few sites, and a few designers/developers and its great, and I much prefer it to RSS.Some people just don't "get" Twitter, and assume its just like Facebook statuses, but for me it's somewhat like a cross between IM/RSS/Blogs/Message boards, only it's limited to 140 characters, so everything is short and straight to point. It's also great for finding what's happening RIGHT NOW. Nothing else on the internet can really match that, and this is why Google is so interested.
