As an aside, do we really still need Google Desktop, now that computer searching as been improved with Vista? Just wondering if it still offers more advantages.

But i like google desktop, i must admit i am a google bitch. I use everything they have, A true Google lifestyle. Though i know you can say this is a foolish move. I use everything google, so hence they know everything about me for the past 2-3 years now lool.

Google Desktop was the very first service/tool from them where I was disappointed.May I suggest you to try the one from MS called, Windows Desktop Search (embedded in msn toolbar). Really useful, efficient and stable.
