Google removes thousands of malware sites

downloadsquad.com — Google has cleansed more than 40,000 of malware hosting sites from their index, that seemed to be part of an organized SEO attack. OK - you might be thinking, spam search results show up everyday - why is this a big deal? It is good to see it. Whilst it makes a lot more difficult to get a website well-ranked, it ensures that only those who deserve get good rankings. There have been too much of abuse, and in many cases bury websites with real valuable content buried down.

The only way to stop the malware attacks is make them unprofitable. Scammers code spyware and create fake websites for the sole reason of getting some profit. If all PC's in the world were equipped with decent security software, the amount of malware would decrease rapidly and considerably. Spammers learn their way into things no matter what, but it is a good thing that Google is cleansing the malware ongoing and steadily...rather than having to collect and unload death to malware sites...it seems the only way to do it as these sites keep popping up and infecting us.
