Phone that run MS Office you can edit documents on the road, you can view PDF files, they also got Full HTML browsers as well that let you actually download files and minipulate them. you can upload from it. I phone got basic READ ONLY options and its don't even have a key board plus its only got like .0001% of smart phone market so why compete?

You're right, I missed that. My point however, was that Google (a Linux-based solution) shouldn't be compared to Microsoft (or Apple), but Symbian. The article wasn't even talking about anything specific to the Windows Mobile platform, but phone OSs in general.For that matter, it doesn't make sense to compare it to Linux either at this point. From the growth rate, it seems Linux could use the shot in the arm (no pun intended).
