the-timing.nl— The son of my grandma's daughter came to me today and whispered in my ear: "Google may be buying Digg.com. This info is 42% accurate!"

That is the whole point of submitting this. It seems that digg user will submit ANYTHING about digg, no matter how possibly inaccurate or trivial it is (recall the story about GameSpot adding digg this links to their pages, if you will). On the flip side, most of the stories seem to make it to the home page, only to be filled with comments about the inaccuracy of the article, likely because people either dugg it without reading it, or dugg it, THEN read the article. As I said before (in a comment about the article mentioned above, actually), digg's users seem to extend an overbearing ego for the site. I love digg as much as the rest of its users, but I'm not going to submit every little thing about it.

This pisses me off. He's just hiding behind his "experiment" to promote his own web page and in the process create a lot of FUD about Google and Digg.
